Holiday destination
The Odenwald has plenty of woods and lovely small valleys. It is an ideal area for hiking cycling and relaxing.
The village Muelben is central to most tourist attractions of this area. Take your car and visit the bigger cities Heidelberg (1-2 hour drive), Karlsruhe (1 hour), Stuttgart (1 ½ hour), Amorbach (1hour), Michelstadt (1 hour), Würzburg (2 hours) and the beautiful Neckar valley with many castles and wine areas.
Our family business “Gasthaus” serves traditional German food and local specialities in the restaurant.

Wie van rust, ruimte en natuur houdt zit hier goed!
Wij hadden de kleinste woning voor 2 personen. We hadden heel veel ruimte om tassen en spullen neer te zetten. Er is een zitje op het terras waar je 's ochtends zon hebt.
De keuken is spaarzaam ingericht. Snijplank, mesjes, pannenlappen en een flinke theemok zou handig zijn. Ik ben zelf zwaar allergisch, maar heb geen klachten gehad. Ik nam mijn eigen kussen mee en heb het matras in een mijtenhoes gedaan. De bank in de woonkamer heb ik gemeden en er alleen met een fleecedeken op gezeten. Het huis is door de plavuizen wel heel gehorig. De tv bij de onderburen kon je horen.
Verder supersnel warm water en ook de verwarming is in no time op temperatuur.
Kortom voor een redelijke prijs zit je op een heerlijke lokatie.

Wir hatten eine unglaublich entspannte , schöne , ruhige Zeit im Gasthaus Zum Engel.Die unberührte Natur mit Schildkröten und Flusskrebsen im Waldsee ist einfach herrlich,den Anblick einer Pferdehorde findet man nur noch schwer?Das Apartment ist komplett ausgestattet und sehr gut geschnitten-wir fühlten uns sehr sehr wohl.Auch und vor allem wegen der perfekten Gastfreundlichkeit und unbegrenzten Hilfsbereitschaft der Familie Schäfer.Alles mögliche würde möglich gemacht,das Entgegenkommen ist einfach unbeschreiblich toll.Jederzeit wieder,sehr empfehlenswert.
