Texel offers a rich array of leisure activities. For the more tranquil holidaymaker and the active recreational athlete alike, the options are almost unlimited, including for children.
Holiday destination
The beach invites you to take long walks, just like the forests and nature areas in the immediate vicinity. There are 140 km of bicycle paths on Texel. In De Koog, there is a rich selection of restaurants and taverns, as well as a variety of shops and boutiques. All shopping facilities (including bicycle rental) are located in close proximity.
Getting there
From Den Helder, TESO ferries depart every hour on the hour between 6:30 am and 9:30 pm (every half hour during peak season), taking you to Texel within twenty minutes. Reservations are not necessary, but it is possible to order tickets online. Extra departures are also announced there.
On Texel, drive straight on Pontweg towards De Koog. The bungalow is located on the right side of Ruijslaan at the foot of the dunes, starting from the road to the beach (Badweg). A precise description can be found on Google Maps.

Wir waren 1 Woche in dem tollen Häuschen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es war alles sehr sauber und die Betten sind super bequem, die Einrichtung ist modern und gemütlich. Die Lage ist super, nur ein kurzer Weg zum Strand und zum Städtchen von de Koog.
Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, wir haben uns herzlich willkommen gefühlt.
Vielen Dank für den rundum tollen Urlaub und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir würden gerne für alles mehr als 5 Sterne geben, leider ist das nicht möglich....es war rundum perfekt. Am Anreisetag wurden wir herzlich begrüßt von Rita inkl.Willkommensgruß im Haus...es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet..die Lage sowieso 1000 Punkte. Wie gesagt rundum perfekt und wir kommen definitiv wieder in dieses schöne Ferienhaus.
