Holiday destination
The property where the apartment is located is adjacent to the “Heidesee” lake. Access to the lake and its circular walking trail of about 2.5 km total length is accessible via a short pedestrian path.
The almost 1000 year old heath village Müden (Örtze), also referred to as the "Pearl of the Southern Heath", will move you back in time with its historic half-timbered houses, ancient oak populations and cobblestone streets.
Various recreational activities are available, including guided bike tours, horse-drawn coach rides through the heathland, as well as an excursion to the Müden Wildlife Park. 18 other amusement parks and the two cities Celle and Lüneburg can be reached by car in 30-50 minutes.
The village's grocery store "Tante Hanna" (translates to ‘Aunt Hanna’), all cafés and restaurants, as well as the local bakery and the St. Laurentius church are within walking distance.
The house is located just a few meters from the high-quality hiking trail “Heidschnuckenweg”, which stretches from Hamburg to Celle. 23 themed loop trails, which occasionally link up with the Heidschnuckenweg, can be hiked in the Südheide natural preserve. Numerous trails are located in the immediate vicinity and parking lots for hikers can be reached in just 10-30 minutes by car.
Those who like to cycle are recommended to experience the scenic routes. Sandy routes along the heathland have been paved and are easy to ride. Information material for this can be found in the apartment or can be obtained at the tourist information office.
You can reach the small REWE grocery store Tante Hanna within walking distance. Compact but nice - here you will find everything your heart desires. In particular, regional products have their permanent place on the shelves alongside the well-known REWE brands.

Restaurants and cafés will take care of your physical well-being if the kitchen in the vacation apartment is to remain cold. Please ask the hostess for recommendations.

Sehr, sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. Tolle Lage. Großzügig, modern aber gemütlich. Sehr sauber.
Schönes helles Bad. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Viel Platz für 5 Personen. Und eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Viele Infos und Wanderkarten zum wunderschönen Müden und zur Lüneburger Heide
