Located close to the beautiful National Park Kellerwald, not far from the ederlake and the Sauerland, our holiday apartment offers retreat possibilities for old and young. The forest covered area is perfect for hiking and nordic walking. In the summertime the Ederlake (7 km away) offers with its 69 km shoreline, perfect conditions for water lovers.
Holiday destination
Our beautiful Fürstenberg offers a slower pace and retreat without through- traffic. With its central location it is the ideal starting point to all your adventures in the Waldecker and Sauerland region.
In just a few minutes driving you can reach the Ederlake, the regioal capital and historic Hansestadt Korbach and the wintersport centres Willingen and Winterberg.
In the summertime the Ederlake offers with its 69 km long shoreline, ideal conditions for waterlovers.
Fürstenberg has some good marked hiking trails and is close to the UNESCO-worlnatural heritage national park Kellerwald- Edersee.
As you can see Fürstenberg is perfect to relax and recharge. We are looking forward to your stay.
Getting there
Fürstenberg is located in the north of Hesse.
The closer community Lichtenfels is from the south starting in Frankenberg signposted, from the west starting in Medebach and from the north and east starting Korbach signposted.
An important tip: Lichtenfels is not an actual village- our community is named after the castle Lichtenfels.

Sehr saubere und gemütliche Wohnung,die Ausstattung ist perfekt ,die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Lage und lädt zum Entspannen und abschalten ein,man kann aber auch die Gegend erkunden,die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen
