Sand in Taufers is located in the heart of the "Rieserferner-Ahrn" Nature Park. The place offers a multitude of leisure activities. From mountain climbing, rafting to paragliding, there is something suitable for everyone. A special natural experience is provided by the brand new Fly-Line for all age groups. (Zipline) Taufers Castle is definitely worth a visit. Let yourself be transported into the world of knights and princesses during a castle tour.

Getting there

Coming by car from the direction of Austria/Germany/Switzerland: Exit the Brenner motorway A 22 at the Brixen/Bressanone exit. Continue on the state road SS 12 towards Pustertal/Brunico (about 30km). Once you arrive in Brunico, continue towards Valle Aurina/Ahrntal, after another 15 km you will reach the town of Sand in Taufers/Campo Tures. Drive straight through the town, and before leaving Sand in Taufers towards Valle Aurina/Ahrntal, turn left (after the car mechanic) and follow the road, after a few bends you will have reached us.
