The village Sivas is 60km away from Heraklion and is located in South Crete. It is a beautiful, small, traditional, Cretan village, which has been characterized as preservable by the Ministry of Culture. It has got beautiful stone-built houses with many carved blazons and nice arched doors. It has also got a great tradition in the cultivation of high quality bio-products and especially olive.It is the birthplace of the prose writer Themos Kornaros.

Wir waren 12 Tage in der Villa und haben jeden Tag genossen. Moderne, sehr ansprechende und komfortable Inneneinrichtung, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Voll klimatisiert, die Matratzen waren uns etwas hart aber das mag jeder anders. Fliegengitter vor allen Türen und Fenstern. Die Terrasse mit dem Pool ist sehr schön und der Blick auf die Berge sehr schön, komfortable Liegen vorhanden. Die gemütlichen Tavernen in Sivas erreicht man in knapp 10 Gehminuten. Wir haben direkt vom Haus eine tolle 8 km Wanderung nach Matala unternommen. Der schöne Komos Beach ist in gut 10 Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Die nette Vermieterin Nicol spricht deutsch und kümmert sich persönlich um alles. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert! Wir kommen wieder :-)
