Arnstadt - "The gateway to the Thuringian Forest" - lies 15 km south of Erfurt between the Thuringian Forest and the Erfurt Basin. The oldest town in Thuringia. Romantic old town, extremely convenient location for transport connections.
You can visit museums, enjoy strolling around town, head to the theatre or the cinema, go running, cycling, skiing, cross-country skiing and bathing or swimming in the local area or in Erfurt, Weimar, Gotha, Eisenach, Meiningen, Jena, Suhl and the Thuringian Forest with the Rennsteig trail.
The apartment and the holiday home are situated in a peaceful location that's within walking distance of the town centre
Getting there
If you're travelling via the A4, drive to Erfurter Kreuz, then continue on the A71/73 towards Schweinfurt and take the Arnstadt-Nord exit.
Or drive directly via the A71/73 to the Arnstadt-Nord exit. Now follow the road to the roundabout.
Take a left and continue towards the town centre until you reach the second roundabout. Now take a right and carry on until you reach the traffic lights. Turn right, follow the road, then start counting(!) and take the sixth street on the left (it's a curved priority road). And you're there!!

War mit meinen Eltern ein verlängertes Wochenende in dieser Ferienwohnung und man kann sich dort wirklich wohlfühlen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt nahe dem Zentrum in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet. Man hat wirklich alles was man braucht, die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Ich kann Alices Ferienwohnung wirklich empfehlen und würde auch selbst wieder kommen.
