Holiday destination
The Yellow Houses is an apartment complex next to “private” beach, where you can find for free sun-umbrellas and sun loungers. They are located 2km away from Pyrgadikia village in Halkidiki, which is a quiet fishing village that has not been affected yet by mass tourism as it is remote from the big hotel complexes of Halkidiki area. In the centre of the village there is a small marina with fishing boats and taverns that serve local greek cuisine as well as fresh fish.

Route :
Pirgadikia, the village, is to reached via two different routes :
Route A : is going along the seaside but is affected by heavy traffic. ( Thessaloniki- Moudania- Nikiti-Pirgadikia ).
Route B : is an inland road with restricted traffic ( Thessaloniki- Arnea- Palaiohori- Megali Panagia- Pirgadikia ).

Host informationThe Yellow Houses was founded by Samara’s family in 2000. The owners Ilias and Katerina Samara were involved with tourism for 15 years. Their son Ioannis and their daughter Anastasia are now running the business and the front desk. As a family, we love our land, its history, tradition and we believe in hospitality.

Als Familie mit fünf Personen verbrachten wir einen großartigen zweiwöchigen Urlaub in den Gelben Häusern. Die Wohnung wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, und alle paar Tage wurden frische Handtücher bereitgestellt. Die geräumige Wohnung (Typ VI) verfügt über zwei große Balkone (einer von beiden immer im Schatten) und die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Unsere Kinder genossen den Spielraum (viele Spielsachen und Spiele) sowie Tischtennis. Der Garten ist schön gepflegt mit wunderschönen Zitrusbäumen und einer Fülle von Grün. Der große Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Grill ist angenehm und geräumig, perfekt zum Verweilen mit Familie und Freunden. Der kleine Strand gleich über die Straße (1-2 Minuten zu Fuß) ist nur sehr wenig besucht (es gibt viele andere verschiedene Strände in der Nähe). Im Laufe des Tages sind verschiedene Teile des Strandes im natürlichen Schatten. Für die Gäste der Gelben Häuser stehen einige Liegen mit Sonnenschirmen zur Verfügung. Wir genossen die vier Kajaks, die wir jederzeit als Gäste nutzen konnten. Das Beste an diesem Ort sind jedoch die Eigentümer. Immer hilfsbereit, freundlich und zu Diensten. Dies ist ein perfekter Ort für Menschen, die einen Urlaub abseits der Menschenmengen in einer sauberen und schönen Umgebung verbringen möchten. Wir freuen uns darauf, nächstes Jahr wiederzukommen.
