The vacation apartment is located in the Cuxhaven Altenwalde district. It is situated in the centre of town in a quiet side street (30 km zone). Within 500 m there are three supermarkets (Edeka, Netto and Aldi), one drugstore (Schlecker), three bakeries, 2 butchers, post office, tourist office, savings bank, three hairdressers, a public swimming pool, and the following inns:

The Altenwalde district has a beautiful forest and moor landscape perfect for walking and bicycling. It is located approx. 6 km from the Cuxhaven town centre, approx. 7 km from the Elbe river, and about 7-8 km from the main beaches. It has good transport connections. For more extensive shopping, a drive to Bremerhaven (approx. 35 km) or Bremen (approx. 100 km) is recommended.

Spontan haben wir unseren Kurzurlaub geplant und haben die Wohnung von Familie Minten gefunden. Familie Minten hat uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen und uns sehr informativ mit Tipps für den Urlaub versorgt. Die Wohnung ist toll und hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und man ist ganz schnell am Meer. Ein wunderschönes Naturschutzgebiet liegt direkt fußläufig hinter dem Haus. Wir haben uns hier rundherum wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt nochmal hier her.
