Beautiful hiking trails start right on your doorstep, while the surrounding mountains invite you to hike, mountain bike and explore.
At Lake Zell, you can go swimming, take a boat trip across the lake, enjoy a leisurely SUP ride or simply soak up the sunshine and the breathtaking mountain scenery. Golfers will also find plenty to enjoy, while those looking for an extra dose of adventure can experience the mountains from above with a tandem paragliding flight.
Families will find plenty to discover too: a particular highlight is the Maisi Flitzer alpine coaster on the Maiskogel in Kaprun, where a thrilling, winding ride takes you down the mountain. There are also numerous attractions, mountain lifts, adventure trails and outdoor experiences to enjoy.
And after an active day? Simply return to Lil’s Dahoam, take in the stunning views of the lake and mountains, and then unwind in the wellness area of the building.

In Zell am See-Kaprun, you’ll enjoy the perfect combination of charming small-town flair, breathtaking mountain scenery and peaceful tranquillity. Just a few steps from the town centre, Lil’s Dahoam offers you your very own private retreat, while keeping you close to a wide range of winter sports activities.
Three major ski areas are right on your doorstep: Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See, the high-alpine Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in Kaprun, and the extensive Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Together, they offer up to 408 km of ski runs, all accessible with a single ski pass.
And there is plenty to discover away from the slopes: cross-country skiing trails, winter hiking paths, tobogganing and relaxing moments in the wellness area.
Salzburg is around an hour away – and thanks to the excellent train connection, you can simply leave your car behind and enjoy a relaxing day trip.
Getting there
There are many roads to paradise. In the age of navigation systems, it's probably not necessary to explain the exact route. Once you arrive in Zell am See, coming from Saalfelden, you will find the yellow "Jet Tankstelle" on the right side, and right after that, turn right up the hill, past the kindergarten, and continue upwards until the beautiful house comes into view.
