Cancellation policy
The tenant has the right to withdraw from the contract before the start of the rental period. In the event of such a withdrawal, the landlord will claim a cancellation fee as follows:
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival 20% of the rental price
Cancellation from 4 weeks before arrival 80% of the rental price
Cancellation up to 7 days after booking is free of charge, unless it is a short-term booking (arrival in less than 4 weeks).
Should there be a cancellation in the case of an accommodation ban or an occupancy restriction, the rental price will be reimbursed in full.

Holiday destination
You will be staying in one of the most beautiful holiday regions in the Sauerland. Here you can discover hidden gems like the small natural resort village of Heringhausen, with its stone dam wall.
Lake Diemelsee offers a gorgeous backdrop and plenty of open-air activities for all nature lovers.
The surrounding mountains invite you to go hiking, enjoy a leisurely bike ride or go mountain-biking at any time of the year.
In summer, enjoy a day on the water with electric or pedal boats, a Diemelsee Donut boat or stand-up paddle-boarding. The ferryboat St. Muffert also makes scheduled stops at various points around the lake, making it an ideal way for hikers to get around. Lake Diemelsee is also a beloved getaway for fishers.
And while you're in the area, it's definitely worth planning an excursion to the Hanseatic town of Korbach (19 km), the baroque town of Bad Arolsen (22 km) or Fort Fun Adventure Land (39 km).
From the resort village, you can easily reach the banks of Lake Diemelsee by foot. Here you'll always find something fun to do at the beach, the diving bay or along the vibrant waterfront promenade. And there's always the adventure pool and Visionarium nature exhibit centre just a few metres away. Fancy a game of mini golf? The Diemelsee Golf Park is right around the corner. Here you can enjoy a round of mini-golf whether rain or shine.
And within walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
During your stay, you'll receive a Sauerland Card, which lets you travel free of charge by bus and train across the Sauerland. There's a bus stop located in the resort village. Your Sauerland Card also gives you discounts on admission to many local attractions, including the swimming pool and golf park in Heringhausen and many attractions in Willingen.
The shores of Lake Diemelsee and town centre are just five minutes away by foot. You'll also find the bus stop and the starting point to many hiking trails, all right around the corner.
Getting there
If you wish to travel by train, there are convenient bus connections and shared taxi (AST) service from the Kohrbach, Willingen or Marsberg train stations. The Diemelsee holiday region can be reached within 15 minutes by public transport.
The nearest train stations are in Willingen (approx. 15 km) and Korbach (approx. 18 km).
