The apartment is an ideal place to stay for excursions or mountain hikes in the Salzkammergut and for strolling in the center of Gmunden. You enjoy a new, modern and quiet apartment with its own parking space in a very central location.
The imperial city of Bad Ischl 30 minutes, Hallstadt 50 minutes, Salzburg 50 minutes, Ausseerland Bad Aussee 1 hour.
Holiday destination
In the immediate vicinity are a bank, groceries, bakery, tobacconist, bus stop, doctor's office and tram stop as well as Frauscherhafen - ship pier.
Ski region: Grünberg on the doorstep, Feuerkogel 20 minutes, Kasberg 30 minutes, Gosau 45 minutes, Loser-Bad Aussee approx. 1 hour, Almtal cross-country ski trails approx. 15 minutes away by car.
I have put together gastro tips for my guests around Lake Traunsee (incl. directions), which I will be happy to send you after booking.
Getting there
Arrival is by train to the Klosterplatz stop in Gmunden. Then walk about 500m along Linzerstrasse to the holiday apartment.
By car via the A1 Westautobahn exit Regau coming from Salzburg or exit Laakirchen West coming from Vienna. Then each federal road about 8 km in the direction of Gmunden.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr günstig , man kann alles sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen . Unser Vermieter , Hr. Gattinger,
hat uns vor Antritt des Urlaubs detaillierte Unterlagen über den Check In sowie über Restaurants und Ausflugsziele zukommen lassen. Das war sehr hilfreich! Der Tipp für die Gassirunde mit unserem Hund entlang der Traun , ganz in der Nähe der Wohnung ,war super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gmunden ist eine sehr schöne , saubere und Hunde freundliche Stadt!

Die modern gestaltete und gut ausgestattete neue Ferienwohnung
hatte unsere vollste Zufriedenheit.
Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und auch die schöne Esplanade mit Rathausplatz wird in nur gut
fünf Gehminuten über die Traunbrücke erreicht.
Wir bedanken uns auch bei Herrn Gattinger für seinen
hervorragenden Service.
In unsere zukünftigen Urlaubsplanungen wird die Ferienwohnung
und Gmunden mit Sicherheit wieder einbezogen.
