Nordwalde and its surroundings are known for their sights and castles as well as well-developed cycle paths that invite you to take long cycle tours. Münster, the city in the countryside, can be reached by car in just 20 minutes. The sights of Münster include the Principal Market and the Erbdrostenhof. And numerous nature lovers are drawn to the Rieselfelder biological station in Münster every year. The city of Steinfurt also has extraordinary sights, including the old town and the castle.
Many towns nearby – Rheine, Greven, and Emsdetten an der Ems – are well worth a visit. Enschede (Netherlands) is also worth seeing and can be reached by car or bike.
Getting there
From the North: take exit A1 at Greven towards Nordwalde. In Nordwalde, take the first exit at the roundabout. After about 1 km, you’ll see the Flothkötter gas station on your left. Turn into “In den Brink” (the street across from the gas station). Then, take two right turns onto "in den Brink”.
From the South: take exit A1 at Münster Nord onto the B54. Then exit towards Nordwalde. After about 3 km, you’ll see the Flothkötter gas station on your left. Turn into “In den Brink” (the street across from the gas station). Then, take two right turns onto "in den Brink”.

Liebe Familie Töns,
die ersten Tage waren sehr schön in Ihrem Ferienhaus. Wir konnten sogar
Nachmittags noch auf der Terrasse sitzen und die Sonne genießen. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ist super, besser geht nicht. Dann
hatte ich leider den blöden Unfall, sodass mein Mann und ich früher nach
Hause fahren mussten. Unsere Begleitung blieb aber die gebuchte Zeit. Bedanken möchten wir uns auch für die netten Aufmerksamkeiten. Uns gefällt es so gut bei Ihnen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
