Holiday destination
Marbach is situated on the Neckar and one only has to drive a few minutes to reach the most stunning lookout points in the region around Marbach, e.g. Hessigheim, Besigheim, Beilstein Castle, Heilbronn; or a Neckar boat cruise to Lauffen a.N. or in the other direction, to Stuttgart.
Marbach also has an excellent S-Bahn connection (5-min. walk to the station) and it's only a short ride to the baroque town Ludwigsburg with the Ludwigsburg Palace and thriving baroque-style garden, or to the regional capital Stuttgart.
The Daimler-Benz and Porsche museums can be reached quickly via S-Bahn as well.
Marbach's old town is exceptionally well preserved as most of its appearance dates back to the reconstruction after it was destroyed in 1693.
Getting there
By car: Take the A81 and the exit Pleidelsheim towards Marbach. Take the 2nd road access ramp to Marbach's Literature Archive, the road turns sharply to the right, after about 50m, turn left and drive through the old town's archway. After 10m, make a left turn onto Strohgasse; it's the second house - no. 15.
By plane: Take the suburban train/S-Bahn S2/3, then the S4 - Marbach

Insgesamt gefällt mir die Wohnung sehr gut. Sie ist ausreichend groß, insbesondere für eine Person, und bietet genügend Platz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und enthält alles, was man für den Alltag benötigt. Auch das Badezimmer ist gut ausgestattet und funktional.
Als Verbesserungsvorschläge würde ich anmerken, dass die Wohnung insgesamt etwas ordentlicher sein könnte, insbesondere in den Bereichen, die nicht sofort ins Auge fallen. Außerdem wäre ein elektrischer Staubsauger meiner Meinung nach eine sinnvolle Ergänzung. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist für meinen Geschmack etwas gering und könnte etwas stärker sein.
Ansonsten bin ich mit der Wohnung insgesamt sehr zufrieden und würde wieder kommen!

Hallo Herr Ofanis,
wo meinen sie genau mit ordenlicher ? Kann sein das zB hinter dem Fernsehschrank vll. Staub war. Aber wir sind halt nicht päpstlicher als der Papst.. ;-)) Der Wasserdruck hat 2 BAR, sollte eigentlich ausreichen, aber ich schau mal ob ich den etwas erhöhen kann. Ansonsten vielen Dank für die gute Bewertung an sich..lG

Wir waren im Oktober 2020 da. Sehr schönes Apartment im Zentrum von Marbach. TOP liebevoll, modern und hübsch eingerichtet mit allen Zubehör. Umfangreiches Informationsmaterial um Touren zu planen. Nette Familie mit Parkplatz direkt bei der Wohnung, was im Zentrum sonst nicht einfach wäre. Sehr gute Gastronomie direkt gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
