For our youngest guests, there is a playground in our 2000 square meter indoor garden.
For the older children, we have a separate playground next to the building and, additionally, during the high season, a 3000 square meter playing field for volleyball or football - also perfectly suitable for flying kites.
Holiday destination
Our apartment Dünenloft 53 is located in the famous Amelander Paradijs in the town of Buren. Buren is situated in the east on the beautiful island of Ameland, also known as "Waddendiamant Ameland." The town offers you shops, restaurants, and cafés. An indoor swimming pool, as well as a supermarket, are also available and within a few minutes' walk. Here, both young and old will enjoy a great bowling area and the opportunity to play mini-golf. Buren is surrounded by meadows and nature reserves and is just a few hundred meters from the expansive sandy beach.

Getting there
Arriving at the ferry terminal in Holwerd is convenient by car from all directions. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a car reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your usual destination station is Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or even more affordably by bus. The taxi ride takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic, while the bus journey takes around 50 minutes.
