Cancellation policy

1. The reservation will only be considered valid, after reception of the deposit amount, which must be made within 72 hours upon to reservation request; payment should be of 25% (twenty five) of reservation value, made by bank transfer or cheque, being considered only on hold till then; this reservation deposit is non reimbursable, and it will only be returned if the reservation is not accomplished for a reason attributable to the owner or agent; 2. Payment of the remaining 75% of reservation value, should be made until 6 (six) weeks before arrival date; 3. If the respective amounts are not paid till agreed limit dates, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled ; 4. If the reservation is made within 6 weeks of arrival date, the full amount must be paid upon booking request; 5. If you need to change your reservation in any way after deposit payment, and up to 6 weeks before the arrival, we will do our best to meet your request. Changes to initial booking may suffer surcharges and cancellation fees will apply; 6. Rates of cancellation, taking into account final payment and arrival date: a) up to 5 weeks before loss of 25% b) up to 4 weeks loss of 50% c) up to 3 weeks loss of 100%; We strongly advise all guests to have adequate travel insurance in place before your book your holiday.

Set within landscaped gardens of pine trees, shrubs and lawns, Aldeia das Caravelas is a cluster of apartments situated at the entrance to the Praia d'el Rey Golf & Beach Resort. The Tennis Club is a couple of minutes walk away, and the Club House and first tee are around 10 minutes on foot. The sandy beach and the 5 star Mariott Hotel with spa, gym and restaurants is a 15 minute walk away, or 3 minutes by car. This property is an excelent choice for your family holidays or group of friends looking to enjoy Portugal's Silver Coast. The Resort is located close to the Óbidos lagoon, with calm waters, sports activities and a restaurant nearby. In Óbidos you can also find the medieval village and castle, with a neautiful panoramic view of the surrounding areas and nature, and with festivals and cultural events all year round. Further away, at a 45 minute distance, you can also visit the fishermen village of Nazaré, also known worldwide for its giant 5 plus meter waves and surfing spots. You'll find an amazing beach right in the city centre, lovely and typical architecture all along with the handicraft products and famous cuisine served is various restaurants. You can continue onto the city of Caldas da Rainha, and admire its beautiful architecture and nature, visit its various arts museums and get a diversified selection of fresh fruits and vegetables all year round. At a 15 to 20 minute drive away are the beautiful golden thin sand beaches in Baleal and Peniche, with clear waters famously known for their perfect waves for surfing. Peniche is also known for its quality fish and seafood, for its restaurants and for its handcrafted goods. From the city, there are boat rides to the Berlengas Natural Reserve, with astonishing landscapes, diversified fauna and flora, crystalline waters and charming natural nooks.

Getting there

Check-ins and check-outs are made in person. We will meet at our office in Serra D'El Rei for key collection and we will then take you to the property, which is only 7 minute' drive. Late arrivals are charged as follows: between 9 pm and 12 am - charge of 25,00 € ; after 12 am - charge of 50,00 €, payable on arrival
