It takes 10 minutes to get to the beautiful town of Heiligenhafen by car. Once there, you can head off on some great boat trips, buy fish direct from the fishing boats or stroll through the beautiful town!
It's also only a few kilometres to the sunny island of Fehmarn with its beautiful towns and the wide range of activities it has in store.
The city of Oldenburg, the Hansapark amusement park and the zoo in Grömitz are some other day trip destinations that can also be reached easily by car.
