It constitutes a perfect retreat, and an ideal as a base for hiking. A narrow sheep track winds its way steeply from the cabin to the mountain plateau more than a thousand metres above. Babbling streams thread across the wooded mountainside and waterfalls are plentiful.

Einige der Zimmer sind abgenutzt, aber das Hotel wird nach und nach renoviert. Das Hotel selbst hat einen gewissen Charme. Sehr freundliches Personal, und die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt am Ufer des Fjords, mit Stufen, die hinunter zum Wasser führen, falls man schwimmen möchte. Ich habe auch gehört, dass es eine Sauna im Hotel gibt, aber da es während unseres Aufenthalts 30 °C war, mussten wir diesen Teil des Services nicht erkunden.
