Playa de Arena belongs to the town of Puerto de Santiago and in the west of Tenerife. It is one of the most beautiful black sand beaches on the island. Here you will find a beautifully planted promenade right along the sea, which offers many bars, restaurants and shops of all kinds. Puerto de Santiago offers 360 days of sun a year with an average temperature of 25 C to 28 C. There are many small restaurants with good food waiting for you. From here you can go on long hikes or boat trips and, with a bit of luck, be accompanied by dolphins. And for the fish lovers there are opportunities for deep sea fishing. Nevertheless, Puerto de Santiago is a holiday resort where things are still tranquil, because the tourist swarm is not too big and there are plenty of opportunities to spend a relaxing holiday. Heading west along the coast is Puerto de Santiago, known for the Los Gigantes cliffs nearby. The town has a large bay and marina and is rapidly growing into a resort town.
