Holiday destination

Buzzards, sparrow hawks, goshawks and kestrels defend their territories here, as do long-eared owls and barn owls. The Barn Owl is located on the Ennemaborg estate, one of the showpieces of Het Groninger Landschap. The front part of the estate is a park, further back is the natural forest. Today it is grazed by Konik horses, wild horses that stay on the site all year round.
