The spa town of Acqui Terme with its hot sulfur springs is about 15 minutes away; there, you can stroll and shop in the mostly car-free city center and end the evening in one of the many restaurants or bars.
The southern Piedmont is especially known for its excellent wines and very good food.
Many wineries invite you to taste and buy.
In numerous restaurants and agriturismos, you can enjoy the excellent cuisine.
