Cancellation policy
If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract on the same terms, the following proportional rents (excluding final cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-letting is not possible. Cancellation / Termination conditions:
In case of withdrawal up to 60 days before the start of occupancy 0% of the rental price
From the 59th day to the 30th day before the start of occupancy 50% of the rental price
From the 29th day up to the day of occupancy commencement and in case of no-show without a declaration of withdrawal 90% of the rental price.
Deviation from regular cancellation, in the event of a Covid-19 travel warning for France, a quarantine obligation upon return to Germany or a Covid curfew in France or Germany at the time of travel according to this contract, the tenant may cancel the booking free of charge. This also applies in the event of short-term cancellation if circumstances change at short notice. In this case, the landlord will refund 100% of the payments to the tenant within 2 weeks after the cancellation date.
The tenant can prove a lesser damage at any time.
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The relevant date is the day the declaration is received by the landlord.
