The Hondsrug Lodge is located near Valthe, which is situated within the Drenthe nature area. We are part of the Hondsrug region, home to the famous Hunebeds. Surrounding us, there are numerous riding stables, hiking trails, and farms. Emmen is just 10 km away and is well worth a visit. The Adventure Zoo Wildlands also makes for a great day trip.
Getting there
From Emmen, you can easily reach us using public transportation. Take bus 74 from Emmen station towards Stadskanaal and ride for 13 minutes (12 stops) until you reach the Vlintweg, Valthe stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to our accommodation, or give us a call, and we can pick you up.
