Holiday destination
Casanita is located in the heart of Vieste's old town, between the castle and the cathedral, far 400 mt from the beach and 20 km from the "foresta umbra" Unesco heritage.
Gargano is one of the oldest national natural park in Italy and Vieste is the most well know destination.
In a day trip you could visit Monte Sant'Angelo, with its two Unesco heritage sites, Peschici and Vico del Gargano.

Wir waren eine Woche in Vieste und B&B Casanita ist die perfekte Unterkunft dafür. Giulio ist der beste Gastgeber, hilfsbereit und gibt jederzeit gute Tipps für Restaurants und was man unternehmen kann.
Die zentrale Lage am höchsten Punkt von Vieste hat einen kleinen Nachteil ;-), man muss abends nach einem guten Essen ein paar Stufen hinaufsteigen. Dafür wird man morgens beim Frühstück mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über Vieste, den Strand und die ganze Küste belohnt. Apropos Frühstück: das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, Süsses und Herzhaftes, selbst gebackene Kuchen, selbst gemachte Marmeladen, Obst, Wurst, Käse.
Was uns auch sehr gefallen hat, ist das Giulio sehr umweltbewusst ist und versucht Plastik zu vermeiden: man die Wasserflasche aus Glas am Zimmer jederzeit in der Frühstücksküche nachfüllen.
Das Zimmer (in unserem Fall „Moon“) war gemütlich, das Bett sehr gut und das Bad sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Das B&b hat nur vier Zimmer, die jeden Tag gemacht werden. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder!
