Leisure activities
Both sides of the Holnis peninsula offer plenty of space for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Especially ideal for windsurfers and kitesurfers is the option of choosing the west or east coast of the peninsula, depending on the wind direction. You can practically start right on the doorstep.
The adjacent nature and bird sanctuary offers walkers a natural beach, salt marsh and cliffs. The forest is only 1 km away and Glücksburg with its shopping facilities is just 4 km away. A wonderful alternative is the direct path along the shore of the fjord.
The apartment is ideal if you want to use the sailing marina “Nautic”. It is 100 m away on foot and you can overlook the harbor area from the balcony. If you prefer other sports, you will find many jogging and walking routes and long, secluded roads for cycling in the slightly hilly landscape of Angeln.
Hollis beach and Glücksburg are only a few minutes away by car (approx. 3 km).
Cycle paths lead directly to all the beaches in the area.

Zum wiederholten Male verbringen wir einen Teil unseres Sommerurlaub in Schausende in dieser Wohnung. Wir genießen die traumhaften Ausblicke und Sonnenuntergänge. In der Wohnung mangelt es uns an nichts. Die Betreuung durch Familie Petersen ist sehr freundlich. Wer Natur und Ruhe sucht, ist hier absolut gut aufgehoben. Wir kommen in 2027 wieder.

Wir brauchen nicht viel sagen. Seit 22 Jahren kommen wir nach Schausende. Wir haben schon viele Orte an der Küste besucht - hier ist es einmalig! Überall wird einem Freundlichkeit entgegen gebracht, die Ferienwohnung ist ein Traum - auch bei schlechtem Wetter kein Problem, es gibt immer etwas zu schauen. Für uns schon fast eine zweite Heimat, wenigstens ein mal im Jahr sind wir hier. Nun freuen wir uns schon auf den nächsten Urlaub.
