Cancellation policy
The tenant is not exempt from paying the rent and the contract fee if the tenant cannot use the holiday property due to a personal reason, e.g. illness, professional or family reasons. However, the landlord must take into account the value of the expenses saved (according to regular case law, 20% of the agreed rent as well as income from another rental. The tenant may therefore have to pay 80% of the rent, even though the tenant does not use the holiday property).
