Holiday destination
Just in front of us is the longest sandy beach of the island, with its white granite sand that provides the turquoise waters. In the pine forest, there is a playground for the little ones, and a fenced football pitch for the youth. The center is only a 10 min walk (400m) away long the beach. The beach is divided into free zones, and beach resorts. You can easily enjoy walks and reach in 20min two more, secluded coves and cliffs. In the spring you walk through flowering vegetation. Marina di Campo is well connected to the public transport bus network. In 4km away is the impressive "Costa del Sole" with cliffs and coves, which tempt to jump in the crystal clear water.
Getting there
I will send upon request all information. The harbour for Elba is Piombino. There are 4 ferryboat companies who serve the Island from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. During the season, the ferries run every hour. Direct flights (including low cost) to Elba from Germany and Milan (Bergamo). Otherwise, you can find low cost flights to Pisa (Ryanair, Easyjet, Airberlin, AirOne and others) and from there by rental car or shuttle bus (unfortunately quite expensive) or comfortably by train (costs about 10 euros) according to Piombino .

Wir haben mit meinem Partner und Oliver, unserem Golden, eine Woche im Capraia-Apartment in der Gegend von Pomonte verbracht. Die Lage ist fabelhaft, direkt an der Spiaggia del Relitto, mit Meerblick sowohl von der Schlafzimmerterrasse als auch von der Küche. Die Drei-Zimmer-Wohnung war geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Lilla war von Anfang an nett und hilfsbereit. Für Oliver war es fantastisch, der Kieselstrand lag direkt unter dem Haus und er war immer willkommen. Danke, Lilla, wir werden definitiv in dieses kleine Paradies zurückkehren.

Wir haben eine Woche im Fantagali Apt. 505 verbracht. Es handelt sich um ein kleines Apartment, das sehr nah am Strand liegt. Das absolut Beste an diesem Apartment ist die Lage und die große Terrasse! Sie war größtenteils im Schatten, sodass wir Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Terrasse einnehmen konnten. Es gab auch immer eine leichte Brise, die sehr angenehm war. Wie bereits erwähnt, war das Apartment für uns eher klein, mit nur einem Schlafzimmer und einem Schlafsofa in der Küche. Die Küche war nicht optimal ausgestattet. Wir mussten alles selbst besorgen, von Salz bis zu Schwämmen. Das Badezimmer war in Ordnung. Es ist schade, dass die Seifen- und Shampooflaschen nicht nachgefüllt wurden. Insgesamt benötigt das Apartment einige Renovierungen. Die Fenster sind alt und schlecht isoliert. Die erste Nacht im Apartment war sehr heiß, da die Klimaanlage den ganzen Tag über nicht lief. Es gibt eine gemeinsame Waschmaschine, aber sie war während unseres Aufenthalts immer besetzt. In der Küche gibt es einen Fernseher, der jedoch leider nicht funktionierte. :-( Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, selbst als unser Sohn krank wurde und wir die Telefonnummer eines Kinderarztes benötigten. Sie reagierte sehr schnell. Wir würden dieses Apartment aufgrund seiner idealen Lage sehr empfehlen.
