Das Cottage war für unseren Aufenthalt völlig in Ordnung, und ich würde es nicht unbedingt weiterempfehlen. Allerdings hätte ich mir gewünscht, vorher gewusst zu haben, wie heruntergekommen es ist und dass es dringend renoviert werden müsste.
Die Lage in einem hübschen Dorf ist groÃ_x009f_artig, und viele Ausflugsziele sind gut erreichbar.
Es sieht so aus, als wäre es seit Jahren nicht mehr modernisiert worden und könnte sogar ein paar neue Gläser und Geschirrteile vertragen. Teile der Küche sind marode, und gleich bei unserer Ankunft stürzte mir ein Schrank auf den Finger, und ich klemmte mir einen Feuerlöscher ein.
Das Wasser wurde nicht richtig heiÃ_x009f_, sodass unser Bad nur lauwarm war, es sei denn, wir benutzten den Wasserkocher.
Die Matratze war sehr abgenutzt, alt und durchgelegen.
Auch die Beleuchtung im Cottage ist spärlich, und durch die Fenster fällt kaum Licht, sodass es drinnen sehr dunkel ist.
Es hat unseren Aufenthalt zwar nicht wirklich beeinträchtigt, aber für den Preis hätte ich mir etwas mehr Geld und Pflege gewünscht.
