Holiday destination
The cottage is within walking distance of the beach and the village. From the cottage you can see the lighthouse of Egmond (Jan van Speijk). The village of Egmond aan Zee has nice terraces, delicious restaurants and nice shops. The beautiful dunes are located around Egmond and in the cottage there are two dune cards with which you can enter the dunes. From the beach you can walk to Bergen aan Zee or to Wijk aan Zee. Alkmaar with its cheese market is nearby and by train you can easily go to the Zaanse Schans in Zaandam or to Amsterdam for a day.
Egmond aan Zee is a very good base for exploring the area or enjoying a wonderful beach holiday.
