Situated between the Het Kustlicht II holiday/villa park and a landscaped nature park with 10 km of hiking trails leading to the dunes and De Westkappelse Kreek lake, and then continuing through the dunes to Westkapelle, Domburg, Dishoek, and Vlissingen.
The island of Walcheren has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands and many cafes, restaurants, terraces, beach pavilions, shops and boutiques, especially in the tourist seaside resort of Zoutelande, a 5-minute bike ride away. Also within cycling distance are Domburg (busy seaside resort), Veere (old port/fortified city), Middelburg (the "Zeeland Amsterdam") and Vlissingen (port city with boulevard), which can easily be reached via various cycle paths on our 4 available bicycles. Zoutelande is also a good base for a day in Knokke, Bruges or Ghent in Belgium by car.

Host informationWe bought our bungalow in 2017 and completely renovated it over the course of five years. We only rent out our holiday home on a limited basis because we enjoy staying there regularly, just the two of us, with our two children (25 and 23), our Golden Retriever, and our friends.
