Holiday destination
The Merano region is known as the tourist hotspot of South Tyrol due to its wonderful, varied landscape and particularly mild climate. Here, you can scale rugged mountain peaks during the day and enjoy the mild summer nights under palm trees in the evening.
Spring and autumn are especially suitable for hiking in the valley and the mid-altitude mountains, while in the summer, you'll prefer to conquer the high mountains with the cable car or chairlift.
Getting there
You'll leave the Brenner motorway at Bolzano Sud and then immediately take the expressway towards Merano. Exit at Merano Sud and turn right, following the signs for Passeier Valley or Jaufen Pass. After 5 km, you'll arrive in Riffian. Head up at the Gasthaus Kreuz. After about 200 meters, turn left: Ferienwohnungen Innerhofer.
Alternatively, you can drive over the Jaufen Pass. This route may be shorter in distance, but not much time is saved. The road over the Jaufen is very winding and in places, it drops steeply at the roadside, which is not to everyone's liking. There are also many motorcyclists on this road.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön und sehr gepflegt. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Familie ist sooo herzlich und freundlich. Der Brötchenservice war super. Die Umgebung ist ein Traum und lädt zu Wanderungen und Besichtigungen ein. Wir hatten bei der Familie eine sehr sehr schöne Zeit. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wir wünschen der Familie Innerhofer alles Liebe und Gute für die Zukunft. Ganz herzlichen Dank.

Die Wohnung war sehr gepflegt und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und freundlich und der Brötchenservice war super. Die Nähe zur Pizzeria, zu zwei Spielplätzen und das häufige Vorbeifahren Jugendlicher auf ihren Motorscootern machten den Urlaub allerdings nicht ganz so ruhig wie erhofft. Die Gegend ist fantastisch und lädt zu vielen Wanderungen und Besichtigungen ein. Danke für zwei schöne Wochen.
