Getting there

The cottage Tenda is situated in the western part of Madeira Island, Calheta in the village of Arco da Calheta. Leaving the airport, follow the expressway in the direction of Funchal - Ribeira Brava - Ponta do Sol - Arco da Calheta. There is a roundabout, follow the direction Ledo. Turn left onto "Rocha de Gouveia" Street. 1 km ahead on your right, there is a sign stating "Calhau Grande", which points the way to the car park of the cottages.

i'm missing sunny days at calhau grande... peace and tranquility with a perfect view to the atlantic ocean... i will came back soon to recharge my batteries.... i cant wait... Definitely recommend a stay here. M.
