Otterndorf: Beautiful old town with shops and good restaurants. The holiday area with green and sandy beach on the Elbe, play barn; play area with skating rink, water skiing, surfing school, volleyball court.

War sehr schön,sehr ruhig gelegen.Alles was man brauchte war vorhanden.Selbst ihr Haustier (Katze) war mitgebucht.

Der Ort bietet sich an, wenn man einen wirklich ruhigen, erholsamen Urlaub machen möchte. Die Medemkate liegt idyllisch an der Medem. Das Häuschen bietet ausreichend Platz für maximal zwei Personen. Terrasse und Steg sind perfekt, ebenso die kostenlose Nutzung des hauseigenen Tretbootes.
Bei der Küchenausstattung mangelt es an einigen Dingen und es ist leider bei vielen Vermietern üblich, die Gäste mit einer Rolle Toilettenpapier und einem Müllbeutelchen zu versorgen. Man kauft also all dies dazu, was unserer Meinung nach im Preis inbegriffen sein sollte, ebenso die Bereitstellung von Bettwäsche und Handtüchern.
Die Treppe zum Schlafbereich macht keine sehr stabilen Eindruck.
Alles in allem haben wir uns trotzdem gut erholt und die Umgebung genossen.
