The cherry and university town of Witzenhausen is attractively nestled in the romantic Werratal and is the centre of one of the largest and oldest cherry-growing areas in Germany.
The attractive old town with its valuable timber-framed buildings bears witness to medieval culture and architecture. In Witzenhausen we have succeeded in preserving the old and still being open to the new.

Sehr netter Kontakt mit den Vermietern,
kleine Unannehmlichkeiten wurden kurz nach der Anreise sofort behoben.
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, es hat einen traumhaften Blick ins Tal und der Ortskern und die sehr schöne Altstadt sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Der Ort Witzenhausen bietet unendlich viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten im Dreibundesländereck Nordhessen/Niedersachen/Thüringen für Jedermann!
