Nach 4 Jahren familienbedingter Pause endlich wieder Urlaub in der Villa Vouno. Das perfekte Ferienhaus mit liebevoll gepflegtem Garten im schönen Dorf Kamilari ist absolut zu empfehlen. Eines der bestausgestatteten Ferienhäuser, das wir in den letzten 10 Jahren gebucht haben. Tom ist der beste Gastgeber den man sich vorstellen kann. Im Kühlschrank warten auf den Gast bei der Ankunft schon kühle Getränke und Obst ist auch bereitgestellt. Tom hat immer gute Tips was Tavernen mit gutem Essen etwas abseits der „eingetretenen“ Pfade angeht und steht immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Mit dem Leihwagen sind die Strände der Umgebung in 5- 15 Min zu erreichen. Die erste Taverne im Dorf ist fussläufig in 10 Minuten zu erreichen und zu den übrigen ist es nur ein paar Minuten länger zu gehen. Wir waren das schon das dritte Mal bei Tom zu Gast und freuen uns schon auf‘s nächste Mal.

Die Lage und der Blick zum Meer sind wirklich schön. Aber es gab Vieles, was uns sehr enttäuscht hat. Das Bad ist sehr einfach und teils abgenutzt. Am schlimmsten war die verschimmelte Dusche. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes wurde das Nachtbarhaus renoviert. D.h. es wurden Steine geschnitten. Der Lärm fing um 7.45 Uhr an und endete um 17. Uhr (30 Min. Mittagspause). Während dieser Zeit war ein Aufenthalt auf der Terrasse unangenehm bis unmöglich. Der einzig ruhige Tag war der Sonntag. Der Vermieter reagierte sehr ausweichend auf unsere Kritikpunkte dazu. Auf die verschimmelte Dusche habe ihn auch noch kein Gast angesprochen,,,,,,,

Verschimmelte Dusche und abgenutzt sind übertrieben. Insgesamt haben wir 3 Duschmöglichkeiten. Uns wurde das mit dem Schimmel im Bad erst am Mietende mitgeteilt. Unsere Putzfrau ist sehr sorgfältig und würde niemals nach dem Putzen die Dusche in einem schlechten Zustand hinterlassen. Die Endreinigung war schon 1 Woche vor dem Beginn der Miete, da es sehr heiss war Anfang Mai kann sich schnell etwas Schimmel bilden.
Wenn wir informiert worden wären, hätten wir das Problem sofort behoben.
Bei dem Lärm aus dem Nachbarhaus muss ich dem Mieter recht geben. Unser Nachbar hat die Terrassen Fliesen ausgetauscht, was ein einmaliger Vorgang war.
Ich hatte mich bei der Gemeindeverwaltung erkundigt, mir wurde gesagt, solange der Nachbar sich an die gesetzlichen Richtlinien hält
(Nicht vor 8 Uhr, nicht nach 17 Uhr und Mittags von 12 bis 13 Uhr kein Baulärm) kann nichts gemacht werden.
Ich habe mich bei dem Mieter dafür entschuldigt und tue es an dieser Stelle nochmals.
