Frickingen is situated in a landscape of rolling hills within the Linzgau fruit- and wine-growing region, just a few kilometers north of Lake Constance and the town of Überlingen. The surrounding area is characterized by scattered orchards, fields, and small woodlands, lending it an idyllic rural charm and making it a wonderful place for relaxation. As part of the Bodensee-Linzgau landscape park, Frickingen serves as an ideal starting point for excursions to the lake, as well as for cycling tours and hikes through the fruit-growing region down to Überlingen and the lakeshore.
