Our holiday home Kilian is located in the "Emspark Auenwald" holiday park, right on the shores of a small lake. It's a holiday oasis in the heart of the Ems meadows, near the Geeste Lake recreation area with its long sandy beach and extensive leisure activities.
The garden borders a natural lake, and just 50 meters away is a playground with a football pitch, two goals, and a beach volleyball court. The area is perfect for walking or cycling. The
sandy beach of the reservoir is about 800 meters away.
The town of Geeste lies directly on the shores of Europe's largest artificial lake, covering approximately 230 hectares and boasting a roughly 1-kilometer-long sandy beach.
The Geeste reservoir offers recreational opportunities such as surfing, sailing, diving, skating, swimming, and beach volleyball. There's also a stylish restaurant and an adventure playground by the lake.
The nearest larger town is Dalum, part of the municipality of Geeste, with numerous shopping options including Lidl, Aldi, and a discount store.
