Off-piste skiing with snow-parks (Passo Mendola) and cross-country ski (Regole - Malosco) are reachable in 10 km with mountain views and restaurants to taste typical local dishes. Romeno is located in the centre of the Val di Non, the valley of canyons, castles and apples, few kilometres from the pilgrimage church San Romedio, the lake Smeraldo, the Thun castle and the Castel Valer. It is not far from the Spormaggiore Wildlife Park, where to see very close the brown bear, the biggest mammal of the Alps, introduced in this area again thanks to a reintroduction projects. Bolzano, Merano and the Dolomits of Brenta are reachable in 40 minutes.
