Egmond aan Zee is a seaside resort in the municipality of Bergen in the province of North Holland. Egmond consists of three villages: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond-Binnen, and Egmond aan den Hoef. Egmond aan Zee is the most well-known of the three villages. More than 1000 years ago, a fishing village emerged here, but since the beginning of the last century, the village has also been of interest to tourists. Both the fishing and the touristic past are still clearly visible in the town's appearance. On the beach promenade, the Jan van Speyk lighthouse stands prominently, which is also clearly visible from the village. The wide beach offers numerous opportunities for relaxation: sun loungers, sunbeds, windbreaks, and beach pavilions. Of course, you can also go hiking, swimming, sailing, and surfing. Egmond aan Zee has numerous shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and of course the beautiful lighthouse. The shops are open seven days a week throughout the year and are easily accessible. Adjacent to the built-up area of Egmond aan Zee begins the beautiful natural landscape of the North Holland Dune Reserve. Egmond can offer both a beach and a beautiful promenade as well as an inviting village center. You will certainly not get bored at the beach, as numerous activities are often organized here. Egmond is also located in a beautiful area surrounded by extensive dunes. Nearby, there are also other beautiful destinations such as Bergen aan Zee and the forests. Cycling and hiking are very popular in this area. Moreover, Egmond aan Zee is close to Alkmaar, a city rich in culture and history, or for example, the famous cheese market, which is also worth a visit. Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Alkmaar are easy to reach.

Yes, another fantastic stay in this apartment, with our great hosts Ingrid and Paul. This place is amazing, comfortable in every aspect. Everything you need is there. Beautiful views over the North Sea and dunes, located close to the beach and town center. Highly recommended.

so wunderbar - waren jetzt schon das zweite Mal im Quartier - und haben schon für Mai 2026 wieder gebucht. Es ist seinen Preis wert. Die Einrichtung und der Blick sind einmalig - auch wenn das Wetter mal schlecht ist - egal. Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist Urlaub von zuhause.
