Holiday destination
Zavala is a small, cozy, quiet place on the sea-facing south side of the island of Hvar and stands for peace and relaxation. The numerous small coves in and around Zavala with their crystal-clear water and fine pebble beaches invite you to sunbathe and swim. For nudist enthusiasts, there is a large, designated beach. From the harbor, the taxi boat goes to the opposite dreamy island of Scedro.
Getting there
By car through Austria and Slovenia to Split / Croatia, take the ferry to the island of Hvar on the north side, port Stari Grad. Then another 15 km to the south side of the island to Zavala.
By plane from Germany to Split, then by ferry or seaplane to the island of Hvar. We recommend reserving a rental car at the airport, which you can use to explore the island during your vacation.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Ferienwohnung Seaside in Zavala und das nicht ohne Grund. Die Ferienwohnung mit großer Terrasse und traumhaftem Meerblick ist hervorragend ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich herzlich, die Kommunikation ist unkompliziert und bei Fragen jederzeit erreichbar. Restaurants und ein Strand sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, weitere wunderschöne Strände liegen nur wenige Fahrminuten entfernt. Vom kleinen Hafen aus gelangt man bequem auf die Nachbarinsel. Absolute Empfehlung, auch wenn wir damit unseren kleinen Geheimtipp verraten.

Zavala ist ein wunderbar ruhiger Ort. In dem Apartment haben wir uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Was war uns wichtig? Meiner Freundin war die Sauberkeit und Ruhe sehr wichtig, mir hat besonders die Lage und die großzügige Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer gefallen. Es gibt ein paar sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe, diverse Buchten zum Baden sind nicht weit. Zu einem klasse Reiseerlebnis gehörte für uns auch die Betreuung vor Ort und auch der Kontakt vor und während des Urlaubs mit Frau Wenker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
