Holiday destination
The apartment is situated in a central but quiet location on the island. It is easy to reach by public transport.
It is an excellent starting point for walks and bike rides.
Access to a quiet beach is within walking distance, as well as the Ecomare seal support center.
Ecomare beach is home to the well-known "Cafe Restaurant Paal 17", very popular among Germans.
The swimming paradise of Calluna is also a popular attraction for young and old.
Getting there
Motorway A7 / E22 - Exit 14 (Den Oever), in the direction of Den Helder and ferry port
or by train to Den Helder station, then by bus to the ferry port.
From Den Helder large, modern ferries travel to Texel in 20 minutes every hour or half-hour, depending on the season (see: www.teso.nl).
The ride to Residence Pelikaan 144 (Byway 14) is 13 km. The bus stops directly at the apartment.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Wir würden wiederkommen, falls das Wetter es zulässt, denn Texel ist wunderschön.

Gemütliche Wohnung in toller Lage, besonders für Radfahrer. Sogar ein kleiner Schuppen für Fahrräder gehört dazu. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig.
