Holiday destination
The historic water mill building is situated on 4 acres of landscaped gardens, including two ponds and a small stream. Wild ducks breed regularly on the ponds, the very rare black stork is an occasional sight and interesting not only for birdwatchers.
The nearest hamlet is 1 km away. The surrounding meadows are pasture for horses and cattle. The mill is located at an elevation of 460m, the hills around are over 600 m high and densely forested. The lovely Wittgenstein region is adjacent to the Hochsauerland area with the skiing resort Winterberg 30km away.
There are some 500 km of cross country ski runs in the area as well as multiple downhill ski slopes, 2 indoor ice rinks, bobsled run etc . The whole region is a renowned hiking paradise.

Wir waren schon das dritte Mal bei Familie Uttendörfer . Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön mit den großen Balkon. Man kann bis nach Traben Trarbach und die schöne Mosel sehen. Hier kann man sehr viel Unternehmen. Wir wünschen Familie Uttendörfer noch viel Gesundheit.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar, die Wohnung ist großzügig und sehr wohnlich eingerichtet. Die Betreuung war sehr nett und kompetent - wenn es Fragen gab, wurde schnell reagiert. Das Grundstück ist riesig und eine gelungene grüne Oase. Wer Erholung sucht, ist hier richtig!
