Mittenwald is Germany's highest climatic health resort.
The Edelraute house is located in the middle of the spa district of Mittenwald. The violin maker is in the Werdenfelser Land, 20 km south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Alpenwelt Karwendel is a mountain paradise with the most fascinating landscapes of the northern Alps.
Getting there
By car:
from Munich - A-95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen - federal road B-2 towards Innsbruck - exit Mittenwald-Nord - to the town center turn past the church into the district of Gries into Laintalstrasse. Then turn left into Hermann-Barth-Weg. The Edelraute house is immediately on the left.
By train:
Munich - Mittenwald (ICE connection also possible)
Innsbruck - Mittenwald (ICE connection also possible).

Eine sehr schöne, geschmackvoll und gut ausgetattete Ferienwohnung, sehr zentral gelegen, ein völlig unkomplizierter und freundlicher Vermieterservice, ein herrlicher Blick vom Balkon auf`s Karwendel, also alles bestens. Sehr empfehlenswert. Man schläft allerdings als Paar auf einem recht schmalen Schrankbett (140cm), uns hat es nicht gestört, obgleich wir mit fast 65 nicht mehr die Jüngsten sind. Sollte man aber wissen. Trotzdem meine absolute Empfehlung in Mittenwald.

We hebben een heerlijke week gelogeerd in Haus Edelraute 3.
Wat een fantastisch uitzicht van de 2 balkons. 's Ochtends een heerlijk zonnetje voor en later achter. Wakker worden met het geluid van de belletjes van de schapen. Zo centraal gelegen om je wandelingen naar bv. de Lautersee of Ferchensee door het sprookjesachtige Laintal en het sfeervolle centrum ligt om de hoek.
De inrichting is vintage Beiers, dus knus en de keuken is ingenieus verborgen achter de houten wanden.
Na onze wandelingen en fietstochten was het heerlijk ontspannen in het bad.
