If the weather isn't suitable for the beach, consider a visit to Amsterdam. A boat ride through the canals and waterways is beautiful.
Fort Kijduin (Den Helder) - an old fort built in 1811 by Napoleon, now expanded into a museum including a large North Sea aquarium. In Den Helder, you can also visit the Naval Museum.
Horseback riding on the beach or taking a surfing or kitesurfing course is possible.
No matter the season - Julianadorp aan zee is worth a trip!
The shops and beach restaurants are open all year round.
Holiday destination
In the village, you'll find everything you need for daily life: numerous shops, supermarkets, a bakery, butcher, a fish shop, cafes, restaurants, a swimming pool, etc. The cozy beach pavilion is open all year round.
About 6 km away in Den Helder, there are many attractions: including the Rescue and Navy Museum, a children's play paradise, cinema, a Japanese garden, and Fort Kijkduin with its North Sea aquarium. In the summer, various markets and different events take place.
Getting there
You can reach us via the A9 towards Amsterdam up to Alkmaar, then the N9 to Julianadorp aan Zee or by train to the Den Helder station.

Wir waren vergangene Woche in der Fewo Dünengras und es war wunderschön dort. Die Wohnung ist groß, hell und sehr sauber. Die Bäder sind modern und ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Unsere zwei Kids waren begeistert von dem Kinderzimmer was viel Equipment gegen Langeweile bot und echt süß eingerichtet ist. Uns hat besonders die gut ausgestattete Küche und die Lage im Haus und auch die Nähe zum Strand gefallen. Der Balkon ist überdacht, sodass wir dort auch geschützt sitzen und die Aussicht genießen konnten, als das Wetter mal nicht so gut war. Die ganze Anlage dort war sehr gepflegt und unsere Kinder haben viel Zeit auf dem Spielplatz und beim Minigolfen verbracht, was uns ebenfalls gut gefallen hat. :-)
Fazit: Preis/Leistung Top mit hohem Erholungsfaktor, wir kommen gerne wieder!
