The ferry to the islands Giglio and Giannutri departs in Porto S. Stefano.

Rome Fiumicino airport to Pitigliano (158 km).
By car on the Brenner freeway. Direction Bologna, Florence until Orvieto, then take the road until near Pitigliano.

Host informationI met the Lombardelli family and their house La Cantinaccia in 1986 during a dinner. We became friends. I gladly accepted their request to rent the house, because I was "in love" with the old tuff house!

Wir waren 2 Wochen im wunderschönen 'Cantinaccia di Sopra' und haben einen unvergesslichen Urlaub hier verbracht. Dank guter Wegbeschreibung und google maps haben wir unser 'piccolo paradiso' auf Anhieb gefunden. Die Lage ist einmalig schön, ein traumhafter Blick in die reizvolle Landschaft, absolute Ruhe, nur die Zikaden sind zu hören. Die Eigentümer sind überaus herzlich, gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Chiara spricht gut englisch. Wir wurden mit frischen Eiern, Gemüse aus dem Garten und Kuchen versorgt. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Wohnung 'Casa Verde' ist gemütlich, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und bietet für alle Utensilien genügend Stauraum. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Coop in Pitigliano (ca. 6km) bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Chiara, danke für alles. Wir kommen wieder!!
