Holiday destination
In addition to the numerous recreational opportunities and rest, Podere Follona is an ideal starting point: Florence, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Grosseto and Massa Marittima are all nearby.
You can also make nice rounds on foot or by mountain bike.
Castiglione della Perscaia delights with its beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, the promenade and sunset, but also wineries like Mortelle or Rocca di Frasinello are nearby.
Getting there
Podere Follona is located in the Maremma between Caldana and Vetulonia (about 3km south of Caldana), surrounded by fields, pines and cork oaks. The 360 ° view is unique. The distance to the sea is about 14 km (Castiglione, Punta Ala). The house leads you to a unpaved, about 2km long gravel road.

Wir waren in den Pfingstferien 2 Wochen in der Podere Follona und hatten die Casa Lena gemietet. Wir können nur das Allerbeste berichten: vom Kontakt zur Vermieterin, der Vor Ort Betreuung durch Rita, der Ausstattung der Wohnung bis hin zum wirklich wundervollen Ambiente des gepflegten Landguts, alles war perfekt! Ganz besonders hat uns gefallen, dass es so schön ruhig und erholsam war. Trotzdem bietet die Anlage auch Spaß für die ganze Familie. An erster Stelle sei hier der tolle Pool genannt, der wirklich außerordentlich schön ist. Und man ist nicht aus der Welt, auch wenn die Anfahrt an das Gut dies vermuten läßt. Nur eine kurze Strecke, und schon ist man in Castiglione della Pescaia und kann den Charme eines quirligen Örtchens am Meer mit guter touristischer Infrastruktur genießen. Ein toller Urlaub!

Wer keinen Urlaub in Hotels, All inclusive und Animation benötigt ist hier an der richtigen Stelle.
Eine Ferienhaus mit allem ausgestattet, 2 Terrassen je nach Sonnenstand, Klimananlage bei
heißen Temperaturen, bequemen Betten und vieles mehr. Das zeigen schon die anderen Bewertungen.
Doch besondere Highlights sind eben die traumhafte Ruhe und der saubere und angenehm warme Pool.
Das ganze gepflegte Anwesen strahlt einfach vor natürlicher Schönheit. Gerne wieder...
