Holiday destination
Our holiday home is peacefully situated in the small park 'Hoog Koog', close to the forest, beach, and dunes. The central location of our house is an ideal starting point for all kinds of activities.
The 30 km long fine sandy beach can be reached by bicycle in just 8 - 10 minutes. The popular seaside resort De Koog is about 1 km away. Here, in addition to many shopping opportunities, including two large supermarkets, there are also many cafes and restaurants.
Beautifully developed hiking, cycling, and riding trails are right on the doorstep. Several riding stables, the 'Calluna' adventure pool, and the famous seal sanctuary 'Ecomare' are in the immediate vicinity.
Getting there
The journey to the island is made by ferry.
