Cancellation policy
Cancellation and Costs
1. The guest is entitled to cancel the booking free of charge within seven days after Vrijheid aan de Kust has confirmed the booking in writing.
2. In the event of a cancellation by the guest after the period mentioned in paragraph 1, the guest owes Vrijheid aan de Kust a cancellation fee. This fee consists of a fixed amount for administrative costs of €30, and a portion of the agreed price:
• in case of cancellation more than three months before the arrival date, 25% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within three to two months before the arrival date, 50% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within two months to one month before the arrival date, 75% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within one month and 1 week before the arrival date, 90% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within one week before the arrival date, 100% of the agreed price.
3. The cleaning surcharge is included in the agreed price. The following surcharges are not included in the agreed price and will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation: tourist tax, laundry package, bed linen, towels, dog surcharge, early check-in, late check-out.
4. Bicycles, hand carts, and grills are rented by the guest through an external provider. These can be cancelled by the guest free of charge up to one week before arrival.
5. The guest can, if desired, take out their own travel and/or cancellation insurance, the costs of which are to be borne by the guest. Vrijheid aan de Kust is in no way responsible or liable for this.
6. In the unlikely event that a holiday accommodation desired or booked by the guest is not available as indicated in the reservation or booking confirmation, Vrijheid aan de Kust will offer a suitable alternative in another holiday accommodation. If the tenant does not agree with the offered alternative, the guest will be refunded the rent already paid in full.
7. Vrijheid aan de Kust offers the possibility of free cancellation (with the exception of the booking fee) in the case of travel restrictions imposed by the authorities in connection with Covid-19, up to fourteen days before the arrival date. The following travel restrictions apply: 1: Closed border in the country of origin or destination; 2: Mandatory quarantine upon arrival in the destination country or upon return in the country of origin in connection with a negative travel advisory from the authorities. 3: These travel restrictions must be mentioned on the official websites of both the Dutch government and the country of origin. In case of cancellation within fourteen days, the guest will receive a voucher. (This applies to bookings made before 01.06.2021.)
8. The guest and all fellow travelers must comply with the Covid-19 guidelines at all times, including those imposed by the authorities or the RIVM [National Institute for Public Health and the Environment]. The same applies to compliance with quarantine obligations upon arrival at the destination or upon return, also in connection with government travel advice. If necessary, the guest or a fellow traveler should be able to provide proof from a general practitioner or health office that he/she has tested negative for Covid-19. The relevant information must be completed in full by the guest and the traveler immediately after booking in the customer portal of Vrijheid aan de Kust.

Holiday destination
The center of Julianadorp is only 2.5 km away from your villa. Many shops, restaurants, and supermarkets are very close by.
There is a lot to do in Julianadorp! Of course, the beautiful beach and the sea with many pavilions where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. In spring, the surroundings are beautiful with tulips and flower fields. In 10 minutes you can be in Den Helder by car or take the ferry to the island of Texel. Museums and the harbor are located in Den Helder.
Getting there
U kunt elke dag aankomen en vertrekken. Alleen in ons hoogseizoen in juli en augustus hebben we een vaste wisseldag op zaterdag en verhuren we alleen per week.

Das Haus ist wunderschön und großzügig. Somit ideal als Familienurlaub geeignet.
Ich war dort mit meinen beiden Hunden, meinen Eltern und meinem Bruder und mit meiner acht Monate alten Nichte.
Die Küche ist ein Traum. Es gibt sogar einen Kaffeevollautomaten. Diesen haben wir allerdings nicht genutzt, da vom Vormieter noch Reste in der Maschine waren, die leider schon Schimmel angesetzt haben. Wurde allerdings von uns gereinigt :)
Außerdem muss man wirklich an alles denken. Als kleiner Tipp, Gewürze, Öl, Müllbeutel, Spüllmittel für den Geschirrspüler etc. einpacken.
Alles in der Umgebung ist zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar und der Bungalowpark ist ruhig gelegen.

Das Haus ist super gelegen, nicht weit zum Strand, ruhig und sehr schön. Es bietet Platz für 8 Personen. Die Küche ist toll. Es gibt zwei Außenterassen mit Möbeln und Liegen inkl. Auflagen.
Es könnte perfekt sein, aber es hat in meinen Augen ein paar Mängel:
Bei unserer Ankunft war es nicht sehr sauber: Haare und Sand im Bad, Glasscherben im Schlafzimmer vor dem Bett. Das eine der oberen Schlafzimmer (4 Betten) hat nur ein winziges Schränkchen. Im Bad gibt es keine Haken für Handtücher oder Ablagen in der Dusche. Die Treppe ist eher eine Stiege und sehr steil - nichts für kleine Kinder oder Gehbehinderte! Es gibt einen Grillplatz, aber keinen Grill. Die Küche hat keinerlei Gewürze und nur einen kaputten Topflappen. Es fehlt ein Wäschekorb.
Sehr Positiv: Die Verwaltung ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
