Probably the most beautiful leisure activity on the island is cycling. You can hardly experience more natural spectacles and the beauty of the island as authentically as by bike or on foot. The many hiking routes and bike paths lead you along countless WOW effects. There are bike rental stations all over the island and almost everyone also rents e-bikes.
Holiday destination
In the immediate vicinity and in the park itself there is a beautiful new swimming pool, as well as several playgrounds and leisure activities. The pretty and cozy village of De Cocksdorp itself offers several good restaurants and cafes, as well as a supermarket and various shops. On the beach is the Paal 28, which is known for its legendary spare ribs (definitely try it). Also very close is the landmark of Texel, the "lighthouse" with an indescribable backdrop and the idyllic Paal 33 (Kaap Noord), which also offers good food and invites you to stop off :-).
