Host informationIn 1960 begon het echte avontuur van de familie de Boer op deze plek. Opa Cor kocht van de heren Barf en Faber een stukje grond om een huis op te bouwen. Bij het huis zat ook al snel een grote schuur die omgebouwd werd tot en recreatieverblijf.
In 1978 kocht de oudste zoon Cees met zijn vrouw Lummy, onze ouders, het huis van opa over. Tot 2020 heeft Lummy er gewoond en de verhuur van de recreatieverblijven verzorgd. Eind 2020 kregen de kinderen de kans om deze familie plek over te nemen van moeder.
Zoons Remco en Richard hebben besloten om gezamenlijk deze familieplek over te nemen vanaf eind 2020 wordt er flink gemoderniseerd. Daar waar de zoons vroeger al meehielpen bij menig verbouwing, krijgen zij nu de kans om de vakantieverblijven te transformeren naar een plek waar vele mensen plezier aan kunnen bleven.
Voor ons is Ameland altijd een fijne plek voor het ontmoeten van vrienden, familie en genieten van rust en ruimte. Het is voor ons altijd thuiskomen! Omdat wij helaas niet ieder weekend naar Amela...
